A collaborative project made by Kevin Lewis and Adam Carter. My roles were programming, UI and SFX.

What I Worked On

I worked on the spawning of the pegs and the system of randomization. I worked on implementation of the special pegs and abilities. I worked on the SFX for the game. I made and implemented the tutorial. I made and implemented most of the UI.

Successes

We were able to implement everything that we set out from the start except for one, which was a daily playable level. For a small scope game in a relatively short amount of allotted time to create, we set out to make a game that has the ability to be replayable far after a single playthrough, and I believe we were successful through both the randomization of the spawning of pegs, but also the randomization and unlocking of special pegs that contain special properties. For a two person team, I feel we were able to make a very polished game. The achievements and customization were great accomplishments and also allow for even more to be implemented on top of them.

Potential Improvements

There is only one background music track and I am not very skilled in music composition, so getting a better musician to create us better tracks would benefit the sound aspect of the game. There are some other special pegs that we were unable to implement at this time, such as one that would destroy all pegs in a given area. The UI fits well, but getting someone that is an expert in UI design would help make it look great. Adding more customization and achievements would be great as well.
